Abstract
Plants and animals have found various manifestations in the bed of poets' poems. One of the effects of plants and animals in Persian poetry is their symbolic and mythological effect. According to their origin, symbols can be divided into natural and artificial, and natural symbols can be divided into animate and inanimate symbols. The living symbols are the same plants and animals that in this research, in order to answer the question: "How are plants and animals reflected in Hossein Pejman's poems?" With a mythological-archetypal approach, we will analyze these symbols in Hossein pejman Bakhtiari's poems. The results of this research show that this Bakhtiari poet used plants and animals in a symbolic and mythological form in his poems. In such a way that in his poetry he used plants such as: flowers and their types, trees and their types, and animals such as: pigeons, nightingales, dogs, lions and deer.
