Abstract
The purpose of this article is to explain the meaning and the form of the poem of the story of the city of Sangestan, the Third Brotherhood. At first, the analyzes of formalism were related to poetry and language, but the thought governing the text was neglected. This article, with descriptive and analytical method, answers the question, what is the meaning of the symbols of this poem? The success factor of this contemporary poem is the genius of emotion with the choice of "maygan" and its brilliant literary "form". By using political and mythological symbols, the Brotherhood has chosen a new way to express "Maygan". Linguistic and archaic elements are dominant, despairing over the improvement of Iran's situation in the 1330s. The Brotherhood's reaction to the defeat of the freedom fighters and the domination of the predatory and powerful colonialists has been well depicted in this system in the past.
