Thinking about death is one of the fundamental elements in poetry content of Forough Farrukhzad. In this paper, it has been investigated how to develop this concept in her poetry through poetic images. The survey shows that the poet is so close to death that makes sense of dignity for it and resembles environment and its components to death frequently. Among expression arrays, there are simile, diagnosis, irony and explicit metaphor, respectively assured by the highest frequency on the Forough’s poetry with a focus on the concept of death. In this article, we have tried to answer the following questions: ?. how is the process of thinking about death in poetry of Farrukhzad? ?. Which do the means of expression in the concept of death have a greater frequency?
