Epistemological approaches to children and teenager literature because of outlining philosophical and epistemological discussions in some of literary works of this field are considered as necessaries of children and teenager literature criticism. Phenomenology theory as a specific quality of awareness and meaning emergence has a substantive connection with immediate awareness world of the child. Therefore with the help of this attitude one could take a different look at literary works of children and teenager field. For this purpose in the present study a story from the field of teenager literature written by Hamidreza Najafi with phenomenological approach of E. Husserl and also the theory of phenomenology of reading by W. Iser has been studied. The purpose is that along with iidentification and analysis of phenomenological elements of the story, the manner of teenager reader perceptions is also studied. Therefore in this research the two categories, narrator and reader are emphasized. The result of the research shows that this story simultaneously shows teenager narrator and reader’s passing from stagnation of thought to dynamic thinking and achieving re-understanding and transcendental awareness and ultimately self-knowledge.The purpose is that along with iidentification and analysis of phenomenological elements of the story, the manner of teenager reader perceptions is also studied.
