Abstract:
Sohrab Sepehri (????-????) is one of the most impacting and greatest innovatory poets of contemporary Iran that has used many allusions in his poems. The Abundancetalisman variety in Sohrab Sepehri's poetry is a powerful sequel and rich in information that Sepehri used to create exquisite images and add to the beauty and depth of poetry. These allusions are used implicitly requiring a great attention to understand all of the meanings hidden behind the words. In addition to Quran and Iranian and Indian myths, Torah and Bible were references of his allusions which show his familiarity with these books. And in reviews and descriptions written on Sohrab Sepehri's poems, this section of his tales of poetry has been less addressed. Sepehri to avoid new duplication to avoid duplication. In this article which is based on library, documentary and content analysis methods, we have tried to indicate and analyze the most important effects of Torah and Bible on Sohrab Sepehri’s poems.
