One of the important ways to convey the concepts of sustainability to children is to use imaginative forms of poetry. The aim of the present study is to examine and analyze imaginative forms (simile, metaphor, allegory, and irony) in children's sustainability poems. The population studied in this study is the collection of poems by Leila Jafari. The research method is descriptive-analytical. The results of the study showed that among the imaginative forms, the element of simile has been used the most in the poet's poems. The reason for this is to present tangible and objective images of the bitter and violent events and incidents of war. The poet presents the terrifying and violent atmosphere of war to the child audience with the help of subtle and tangible images so that the reader becomes familiar with the phenomenon of war and its incidents. In classifying the images, the poet has also used both types of surface and depth images.
