In this article, we will get to know another face of the Qajar era's Maqtal-e-Sara, Mirza Mahmud Fadaei. Fadaei, the poet of the poetic Maqtal and the creator of the longest Ashura composition in Persian literature, used an elegiac approach to compose the great event of Ashura; this is also the reason for the fame and reputation of this literary scholar. However, Fadaei was not oblivious to the events of his time and the issues of his country. Fadaei revealed the sign of this awareness and sensitivity to the changes of the times by composing the ode "Siniyeh" with the line "Uros" in describing the Russian army's attack on Iran and their irregularities. This historical ode, which has sixty-seven verses; It expresses a lived and direct experience, in the heart of socio-political events and arising from the atmosphere of the two wars between the Russian government and Iran, which occurred simultaneously with Fadaei's life and existence. Rereading and examining it, since it is a first-hand document born of its time; from the perspective of the historical sociology of the text, it is very valuable and places Fadaei among the pioneers of jihadi literature or the literature of stability. In this ode, Fadaei has a political-critical approach and a narrative tone and attacks the Russian army with the sword of the tongue and, seasoned with humor and sarcasm, mixed with jealousy and anger, he also cries out about the betrayal and betrayal of some individuals.
