In this study, we have examined and compared the components of sustainability in two long novels, The World of Dan-Aram by Mikhail Sholokhov and Kilider by Mahmoud Dolatabadi. In writing and compiling this study, we have divided the components of sustainability into three groups as the main goal: components of sustainability based on awareness, components of sustainability based on altruism, and components of sustainability based on concern. Then, we examined this group of components in both books and finally, by comparing the similarities and differences, we expressed the reasons for the approach or divergence of each work from a component through analysis. After these studies, it was clear that sustainability in Dan-Aram is completely realistic; but in Kilider, sustainability acquires an epic aspect and the hero of Kilider is praised like the heroes of the epic. We see the elements of stability in both stories almost equally, except for a few cases, one of which is anti-oppression, which is more evident in Kilider than in Dan Aram. The other is incitement and incitement to the idea of uprising and revolution, which has more examples in Dan Aram. Praising fighters also has many examples in Kilider, but we see this element less in Dan. We see anti-hostility more in Dan.
