Nature and its beauty have long served as a source of inspiration for human love and artistic expression throughout history. In particular, they have profoundly influenced the thoughts and emotions of poets and writers. The perception of nature by poets and writers differs significantly from that of ordinary people, as they often transform natural elements into artistic and symbolic images in their works. For this reason, nature has remained one of the primary sources of artistic inspiration from the past to the present and has consistently occupied an important place in artistic creation. This study examines the nature‑related poetic imagery in the works of Fereydoun Moshiri and Charles Baudelaire using a descriptive analytical approach. The main objective is to determine how these two poets employ elements of nature in their poetry and what functions these elements serve in expressing their thoughts and emotions. The findings indicate that the most significant similarity between the two poets lies in their strong emphasis on nature and natural imagery. Natural elements function as a central driving force in the poetry of both poets. Moshiri frequently employs nature to express themes of love and social concerns, whereas Baudelaire uses natural elements to reflect feelings of lost youth and the complexities of life. Despite these differences, both poets place nature at the center of their poetic expression.
