Love for the homeland is represented by patriotism, which is derived from affection for the motherland, is rooted in the defense of territory and ancestry, and by which a profound loyalty and attachment to national culture and traditions, along with the support of the people of that land, are frequently engendered. Love for the homeland has always been manifested in the writings and poems of authors and poets across various lands. The issue of the homeland was eloquently and fluently portrayed by Salah Abd al-Sabur, a contemporary Arabic poet, and Houshang Ebtehaj, a contemporary Persian poet. It is hypothesized by this research that a nationalist stance is held by both of these contemporary Arabic and Persian poets, and that alongside the homeland, similar themes such as the pursuit of freedom and resistance against oppression are shared by them. It should be noted that library resources and a descriptive-analytical method are utilized by this research. Alongside the introduction of these two poets, the prominent examination of the issue of the homeland and its related themes is established as the primary aim of this study.
