Various representations of flora and fauna are exhibited within the context of poetry, particularly that of contemporary poets. Their symbolic and mythological representation is considered one of the primary manifestations of plants and animals in Persian poetry. Based on their origin, symbols can be divided into natural and artificial categories, and natural symbols themselves can be subdivided into animate and inanimate symbols. Plants and animals are identified as these animate symbols. In this research, these symbols in the poems of Hossein Pejman Bakhtiari will be analyzed with a mythological approach, so that the following question can be answered: "How are plants and animals reflected in the poems of Hossein Pejman?" It is demonstrated by the results of this research that plants and animals have been utilized in a symbolic and mythological framework within his poems by this Bakhtiari poet. Specifically, plants such as flowers and trees, along with their various types, as well as animals such as pigeons, nightingales, dogs, lions, and deer, have been employed in his poetry.
