The traits of extraversion and introversion exist in all individuals and are often considered to lie on a single continuum. Therefore, every person possesses both tendencies, although one usually predominates and becomes the defining characteristic of the individual. Sohrab Sepehri, one of the most prominent poets of contemporary Persian literature, expresses ideas that can be related to modern psychological concepts. In order to better understand his personality, this study examines and analyzes his works, writings, and poems, particularly his collection *Eight Books*, through a descriptive‑analytical approach. The concepts found in his works are compared with the characteristics commonly associated with introverted and extroverted personalities in psychology. Based on an analysis of his original and distinguished works from a psychological perspective, the findings suggest that Sohrab’s personality reflects qualities such as optimism, hopefulness, love, rationality, gratitude, contentment, punctuality, simplicity, sociability, and friendliness.
